Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for our nation to pause and invite God’s blessings into our midst. Please join us in person or online tonight, May 6, at 6:30pm CT for our National Day of Prayer Service.
Beyond praying for ourselves and our families, we each have an assignment to intercede for our communities, our leaders, our nation, and the world. So, let’s pray with a broader view of what God is doing in the earth. And as we gather together in His name, He is in our midst (Matthew 18:19–20).
Let’s Pray:
Father, we thank You for the great freedoms we know and the liberties we have. You have truly opened the windows of Heaven and poured out Your blessings upon our nation. We pause this week to acknowledge You. The best things in our lives have come from Your hand. We pray that we would make choices that would allow You to continue to bless our nation. We pray You would give us leaders who fear Your name—men and women who will honor You, respect Your Word, and stand for truth and godliness. We pray for Your people throughout the earth today where there’s great oppression. We pray You’ll protect them and bring new freedom. Awaken Your people. Give us a heart for what You are doing that we might join Your purposes in the earth. Thank You for the great honor and privilege we have of praying together. In Jesus’ name, amen.
