Battle Plan
Battle Plan 63
September 19-25, 2021

The lawlessness increases each week. Our sense of prosperity fosters a lack of concern. It is a good time to seek the Lord. Say no to ungodliness. Make no room for “carnality.” Take time each day to listen to the Lord. Our strength is in the Lord — He is our strong tower, our provider, and our defense.

In times of stress, the fundamentals matter. Seems like a good week to revisit our fundamentals.

Morning Prayer

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.

And in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hades; the third day He rose again from the dead:
He ascended into Heaven, and sits on the right hand of God,
the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Mid-day Proclamation

Psalm 91:1-10 (NIV®)
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling– even the LORD, who is my refuge–
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.

Evening Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed by Your name,
Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen.
