The government won’t set us free. Leaning into hatred and demanding our rights won’t set us free. Only God’s truth will set us free, and we find it as we read the Bible and seriously consider what it says. Instead of approaching time in God’s Word as a habit, let’s read Scripture because we desperately need its truth to change our hearts and our lives.
LET’S PRAY:
Heavenly Father,
Teach me to love Your Truth. Grant me a revelation and insight into Your eternal truth, that I might walk in righteousness. Forgive me when I have chosen deception and dishonesty. I choose to separate myself from all falsehoods. I want to be a person who walks uprightly before You in truth and integrity. Give me the courage to use my voice in the places where You have put me to speak and choose the truth. I thank You that You’re a God of mercy and a God who delivers.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
The truth of Scripture helps us understand the world we’re in today. We’re in the midst of a conflict, and we need God’s people to take their places. God can change the direction of a nation, but it begins with individuals who are willing to embrace His Truth.
Onward in Him,
