One of the things COVID taught us is how diminished we are when we are isolated. We need one another! Community is important! No one escapes life’s challenges, and when you face an issue with your health, your emotions, or your family system, you can find strength from being with like-minded believers.

John 1:7 says, “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.”  The verbs in that verse are all in the continuing present tense. We need to continue to walk in the light, and continue in fellowship with one another, so the blood of Jesus can continually cleanse us from all sin. Faith requires our active participation—and one of the ways we can do that is through fellowship.

We have a unique opportunity to gather together with other Christ-followers at our Fall Outdoor Festival. It begins September 24 and continues through the first three weekends of October, and I hope you can be a part!

I’ll tell you a bit more about it in this short video:

We’ll have baptisms, children’s activities, food trucks, and special guest artists each weekend including Matthew West, Meredith Andrews, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Big Daddy Weave. Find more information on the World Outreach Church website, and let us know you’re coming!

The Body of Christ is a powerful force, and we have a role to play during this important season. Let’s gain strength as we gather together!

Onward in Him,

Pastor Allen Jackson
