Let's Pray

What lessons in leadership has Pastor Allen learned from watching President Trump, and what crucial example has the President set for Christ-followers?

Pastor Allen pointed out the uncommon behavior—accepting disgrace—that all Christians should adopt from Trump’s “masterclass” in leadership and perseverance while a guest on Flashpoint, hosted by Gene Bailey. Flashpoint’s panel also included Rabbi Jason Sobel and Pastor Dutch Sheets.

The hour-long show aired on March 19, and you can watch it here. They discussed the character issues revealed by the government shutdown, recent assaults on truth in the form of AI-driven psychological warfare in the Middle East conflict, and practical ways Christians can courageously stand against antisemitism and lead with their faith in a world where the biblically-prophesied increase in lawlessness is unfolding before our eyes.

It is as impractical to leave your faith in church as it is to leave your marriage at home, Pastor Allen said, but fear and uncertainty make even born leaders reluctant. That was the impetus behind his latest book, Lead with Faith: Using Your Influence for God’s Purposes.

Lead with Faith was written as a how-to manual of taking your God-story wherever you go,” he said, adding people will respond because everyone is looking for hope and strength.

“Every display of courage gives heart to those who are standing in the shadows afraid,” he said.
