A baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger sounds so romantic, but I guarantee it wasn’t Mary and Joseph’s preference. I’ve spent a good chunk of my life feeding animals, and the place where you put the grain and hay for the livestock is not where you’d want to lay a newborn baby. But the manger was a part of God’s plan, and this Christmas, you can rest in His perfect plans for you, too. Let me tell you a bit more in this short Christmas message:
When Jesus stepped into time that first Christmas, His life changed human history and the destiny of humanity. That’s great news for all people, and it’s why we celebrate today! I hope you have a very merry Christmas, and may the peace of God fill your heart and mind.
Onward in Him,
Pastor Allen Jackson
