Lessons in Overcoming: Conversations with Corrie ten Boom is a study on the life and example of Corrie ten Boom, who led with her faith during one of the most tragic times in human history: World War II, when the Nazis persecuted the Jews.
In this five-week study, you’ll discover:
- How the same God who carried Corrie through the horrific conditions she encountered wants to walk hand-in-hand with you today.
- How to press on and trust in God’s plan, even through fear and when difficult things happen.
- How Jesus has made us more than conquerors over evil.
- How God’s love outshines all suffering, and we can find freedom in forgiveness.
Each session features a short teaching from Pastor Allen, an excerpt from the life of Corrie ten Boom (portrayed by Actress Nan Gurley), and a study guide.
This study is particularly poignant in our world today—it’s easy to feel like evil is winning—but as we’ll learn from hard lessons of Corrie’s life, Christ has the victory, and we will overcome in His name.
