Many of us know Jesus was born in a barn—it wasn’t very pretty, and it certainly didn’t smell good. But God brought something remarkable out of it. That’s how God works. He often uses less-than-perfect circumstances to bring about His purposes—and that’s an important thing to remember, when you find yourself in a challenging season.
Pastor Allen has some more thoughts to share on this topic, and we invite you to take a few minutes to be encouraged, as we approach Christmas Day.
If your life has more “manure” than you’d like this Christmas season, don’t forfeit your joy. It’s not pleasant to be in the midst of it, but manure makes things grow. And oftentimes it’s the challenges in life that prepare us for something better, just ahead.
