Let's Pray

Our friend, Brad Arnold, shared his powerful testimony on the Culture & Christianity podcast just a few months before he was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer. He went home to the Lord on February 7, 2026, and we keep reflecting on all the truths he spoke and the many ways he led with his faith throughout his daily life.

“I’ve always tried to make songs that help people through situations—to help them acknowledge that ‘Jesus loves me.’ That’s the most powerful thing in the world, to know that Jesus loves you….” —Brad Arnold, lead singer of 3 Doors Down

In his podcast appearance, Brad spoke candidly about his alcoholism, the role of family prayers, and the guidance of legendary musician Charlie Daniels in his successful rehab. He shared the unusual way God convinced him to share the Gospel from stage. He also spoke of how this commitment to boldly sharing his faith brought him to “the best place in my life.” Anyone wondering if God could possibly have a purpose for them can find encouragement in Brad’s words.

We pray for the comfort of Brad’s wife, Jennifer, and his family and friends, even as we celebrate God’s redemptive work in Brad’s life and the legacy of faith he left behind.
