Morning Prayer
Matthew 10:26-27 (NIV®)
26 “So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.”
Heavenly Father,
Deliver us from the spirit of fear and give us a boldness to speak truth. Let those things hidden and concealed be made known. May those who have practiced deception be exposed and things hidden in darkness be revealed in the light. We desire Your truth in our inmost being. We rejoice in the freedom that Your truth brings. Holy Spirit, help us to see the truth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Mid-day Prayer
Isaiah 59:14-15 (NIV®)
14 So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. 15 Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.
Almighty God,
We have turned our backs on Your truth. We have been silent when Your truth was mocked and diminished. We come in humility to repent, to choose a new path and a new response. Give us a love for Your truth. Once again, let justice prevail in our streets; let righteousness be celebrated and truth be upheld. Look upon us in mercy, and act. Apart from You we cannot know freedom. Only Your truth can bring deliverance and restore righteousness. Amen.
Evening Prayer
I thank You that through the blood Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the Devil. I have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of light. I ask for Your power to bring life to my mortal body today—give me Your strength and health. Reveal to me any harmful thing within me that I may turn to You in humility and repentance. You are my life, my hope, and my deliverer—in Jesus’ name. Amen.
