Battle Plan

Morning Prayer

Almighty God, forgive me of my sins. I have fallen short of what You created me to be. I acknowledge my rebellion and sin against You; I am without excuse. Cleanse me, and I will be clean; pardon me, and I will be free. I choose to forgive all those with whom I am entangled by unforgiveness and anger. I release them into Your care and administration. I rejoice in my new freedom. All of Satan’s claims against me have been canceled; I am a child of the king. I have been justified, redeemed, sanctified, and now serve the Creator of All Things. Amen.

Mid-Day Prayer

Heavenly Father, You determine the times and the seasons. We are Your creation. Grant us discerning hearts to recognize the opportunities and responsibilities of this time. Forgive us for grumbling and complaining. Renew our strength and refresh our soul. You are our Deliverer, our Redeemer, and our King. We rejoice in Your great provision for our lives. Holy Spirit, awaken us to walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for our lives. May our hearts be steadfast! Empower us as never before to proclaim the good news to our generation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Proclamation of Faith

Psalm 35:1-9 (NIV®)
1 Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. 2 Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Say to my soul, “I am Your salvation.” 4 May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away; 6 may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise– may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in his salvation.
