Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You today for Your great love and mercy! You have delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of Your Son. In our weakness, Your strength has been made evident. Now, let Your Spirit move among us. Let the glory of the Lord be made evident. May those who have served You rejoice in Your great wisdom and power. May the plans of the wicked fail; confuse the words of those who oppose Your purposes, and grant Your people a boldness to speak the good news of the Kingdom. Open doors which no one can close! May Jesus’ name be exalted throughout the earth. Amen.
Mid-Day Prayer
Ephesians 3:14–21 (NIV84®)
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen You with power through his Spirit in Your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in Your hearts through faith. And I pray that You, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that You may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Evening Prayer
Almighty God,
We constantly pray that You may count us worthy of Your calling, and that by Your power, You may fulfill every good purpose and every act prompted by our faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
