Prayer makes a difference! Jesus Himself taught us that prayer is powerful, we pray in His authority, and we pray to our Heavenly Father.
So, our prayers are not just meaningless, hopeful words tossed out in desperation, as the world might have us believe. They are an expression of the spiritual authority we have as believers in Christ and citizens of the Kingdom of God.

Even when our failures and flaws make us feel unworthy, we can still pray boldly and without fear—we come to God, not in our own standing, but in Christ’s. That’s why we end our prayers with “in Jesus’ name.”
