Defending the Truth Exhibit Coming to World Outreach Church April 24–26
Traveling museum showcases rare artifacts and America’s faith-filled history
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 15, 2026) – World Outreach Church will host Defending the Truth, presented by the American Journey Experience and WallBuilders, April 24–26. The traveling museum and research library brings America’s history to life through rare artifacts, historical documents, and immersive exhibits.
Several of the artifacts on display are rarely seen outside private collections, giving visitors a unique opportunity to encounter pieces of American history typically reserved for museums and research archives.
Participants will have the opportunity to view one-of-a-kind artifacts and rare historical items from the collection while learning about the faith, courage, and leadership of many of America’s founding figures and unsung heroes. Artifacts will include:
- Personal belongings of George Washington
- An original copy of the first draft of the Declaration of Independence
- Artifacts from America’s pivotal wars
- Bibles that played a role in the formation of the nation
- Artifacts from Jamestown and Plymouth
In addition, exhibits will be on display across the church throughout the month of April, highlighting the role faith played in the establishment of our nation.
The American Journey Experience explores the story of the United States from the time of Christopher Columbus through the Space Race, highlighting the people, events, and biblical principles that helped shape the nation’s moral and constitutional foundation.
WallBuilders is dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and emphasizing the moral, Christian, and constitutional principles upon which the nation was built. WallBuilders frequently partners with the American Journey Experience to present this unique collection across the country.
Renowned historian David Barton, founder of WallBuilders, will be the guest speaker during church services on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, sharing his historical and biblical perspective on the founding of the United States.

Defending the Truth will take place from April 24–26 at World Outreach Church, 1921 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro. Tickets are required ($5 for guests 18 and older; guests 17 and under are no charge) for guided tours and artifact viewing. Find additional information at wochurch.org/event/dtt.
