It’s back to school time, and from the youngest to the oldest, students are getting ready to return to the classroom. Whether you are sending children to school, involved in the education process, or finished with school, teaching the next generation is important to all of us. Let’s join together and ask for God’s blessing on students and educators.
Let’s Pray:
Heavenly Father, we invite You into the upcoming school year and lift it before You. We pray for the teachers, administrators, support staff, school board, and all who play a role in education at any level—that their efforts would make all schools safe and welcoming places for learning. We pray for families to have wisdom, peace, and an easy transition as calendars, routines, and budgets change. Most of all, we pray for the children and for all students. Watch over them and bless them. Provide the resources they need and remove any challenges to learning so they can thrive. Help them to grow not just in knowledge but in their souls and spirits, as well. Lord, be present in our schools, and fill them with godly leaders who honor You and Your Word. As the children learn, may they also experience a revelation of You that will draw them closer to You and change their futures. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Children are a gift from God. Their education is a great responsibility—one that we all share. Let’s continue to pray for students and schools throughout the year, and let’s also ask God to use our lives to bring His Truth to the children around us.
