Morning Proclamations
Psalm 141:8–10 (NIV84®)
8 But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign Lord;
in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death.
9 Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, from the traps set by evildoers.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.
Psalm 143:5–6 (NIV84)
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
Mid-Day Prayer for Families
Psalm 144:12–15 (NASB 95®)
12 Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants,
And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace;
13 Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce,
And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;
14 Let our cattle bear Without mishap and without loss,
Let there be no outcry in our streets!
15 How blessed are the people who are so situated;
How blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
Evening Prayer—Reminder RE: Our Point of Trust
Psalm 146:3–10 (NIV84®)
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.
4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—
the Lord, who remains faithful forever.
7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets prisoners free, 8 the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10 The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord.
