When I talk to friends from other countries, they tell me they want to participate in Thanksgiving with all its fixings—turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, and pumpkin pie. As we feast and enjoy time with family and friends, let’s remember our nation set aside this holiday to give thanks to God. He has provided for us, He has protected us, and He is moving in remarkable ways.
Please join me for a quick Thanksgiving message and prayer:
Whatever your circumstances are today, make time to give thanks. We’re not thankful because everything in our lives is perfect. We’re thankful because our God is all-knowing, all-powerful, faithful, and just—we can trust Him!
God bless you, and Happy Thanksgiving!
— Pastor Allen Jackson
You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. — Psalm 118:28-29
